May 2011: Rebecca is 13 years old and wants to be a pilot when she grows up. She loves the colour red, playing, netball and she lives with her mom, sister, and 2 younger brothers. Rebecca is studious and quiet, but has a lot of friends. This month she was able to take part in two field trips. First, she went to the Nile River where she was able to lay eyes on this famous body of water for the first time. She took a bus to Jinja and went on a boat ride on the Nile. Second, she took part in a field trip to Wonder World, an amusement park. She even (after some nervous hesitation) joined the other older kids in the pool! Also this month Rebecca was given medication for de-worming.
